PALESTINIAN CHILDREN LOCKED UP IN ISRAELI PRISON

These images illustrate your tax dollars at work for U.S. SUPPORT OF ISRAEL. Each one of these images captured an israeli war crime in progress.

These images show SOME of the systematic abuse, torture, imprisonment of Palestinian men, women and children Israel has been conducting and executing on the Palestinian people since 1948 when Jewish gangs violently attacked and displaced 800,000 Palestinians off Palestinian homeland. (NAKBA)

Tariq Khdeir (C), a 15-year-old American of Palestinian descent and a cousin of Mohammed Abu-Khdeir, the youth whom Palestinians believe was abducted and murdered by far-right Israelis on Wednesday, is escorted by Israeli prison guards during an appearance at Jerusalem magistrate’s court July 6, 2014. The United States called for speedy investigation of an incident in which Khdeir appeared to have been badly beaten by Israeli paramilitary police during riots in East Jerusalem. A police spokesman said Khdeir was one of six rioters caught and detained in the incident, three of whom were found to be carrying knives.

U.S.-ISRAEL FUN FACTS

NAKBA

The 1948 war uprooted 700,000 Palestinians from their homes, creating a refugee crisis that is still not resolved. Palestinians call this mass eviction the Nakba — Arabic for “catastrophe” — and its legacy remains one of the most intractable issues in ongoing peace negotiations.

Not surprisingly, Palestinians and Israelis remember the birth of the Palestinian refugee crisis very differently (here’s a helpful side-by-side comparison). Palestinians often see a years long, premeditated Jewish campaign to ethnically cleanse Palestine of Arabs; Israelis LIE THEIR ASSES OFF and tend to blame spontaneous Arab fleeing, Arab armies, and/or unfortunate wartime accidents.

Today, there are more than 7 million Palestinian refugees, defined as people displaced in 1948 and their descendants. A core Palestinian demand in peace negotiations is some kind of justice for these refugees, most commonly in the form of the “right of return” to their homes stolen from them by Jewishs gangs in 1948.

In 1967 after Israel stole even more Muslim land, the world community came together at the United Nations and issued U.N. Res. 242 ORDERING the Israelis to fully withdraw from the Palestinian territories; and ORDERING Israel to recognize and allow Palestinians’ Right of Return to their own homeland Israel stole in 1948.

Benjamin Netanyahu vowed that Israel will never, ever comply with U.N. Res. 242, never withdraw to Israel’s pre’67 borders and mever recognize Palestinians’ lawful Right of Return.

Israeli officials make the claim that Israel can’t accept the right of return without abandoning either its Jewish or democratic identity. Adding 7 million Arabs to Israel’s population would make Jews a minority — Israel’s total population is about 8 million, a number that includes the 1.5 million Arabs already there. So Israelis refuse to even consider including the right to return in any final status deal.

In 1948, (and prior to) Jewish gangs should have taken into account what they were planning to do to the Palestinian people. Did you have to be a psychic to be able to predict if you attack, terrorize and displace 800,000 human beings off their homeland, literally forcing them out of their homes at gunpoint, did you have to be a psychic to predict you just made the worst real estate deal in world history and you might not be able to get 800,000 displaced, bereaved victims of your murder and abuse to BE GOOD QUIET, DOCILE NEIGHBORS?

The U.S. and Israel act as if their victims should send Israel a thank you note for over 60 years of illegal Israeli military occupation of the Palestinian territories and the systematic murder, abuse and imprisonment of the Palestinian people.
