The Problem of U.S. Cybersecurity

When it comes to cyber attacks, the U.S. government pretends to be as innocent as “Little Miss Riding Hood”

For decades the U.S. government has been hacking and spying into foreign government systems to disrupt, destroy networks and steal data.

Recently victims of U.S. government cyber attacks assembled into a single large coalition of computer scientists who executed the most sophisticated cyber attack ever performed.

Officially the U.S. blames Russia for the attack.

The US is readying sanctions against Russia over the SolarWinds cyber attack. Here’s a simple explanation of how the massive hack happened and why it’s such a

The Biden administration gives lip service to a negotiated settlement and a two state solution. But Washington has done nothing at all to prevent the gradual colonization of the Palestinian West Bank.

Complaint Filed:

I am filing this complaint on behalf of the residents of the states of Arkansas, Alabama, Iowa, Mississippi, Montana, North Dakota and South Carolina and Tennessee because these states have ended or about to end residents’ federal benefits accessible under the American Rescue Plan, Pandemic Unemployment Assistance.

I contend these states’ governors do NOT enjoy a statutory or constitutional right to violate their residents’ U.S. Constitutional rights to access federal benefits. I contend these governors are categorically violating their residents’ 14th Amendment right to equal application of the law and the right of equal treatment amongst states.

I contend these … Read the rest

Friday April 30, 2021

In an interview on Friday, Democratic Sen. Joe Manchin became the first Senate Democrat to announce his opposition to legislation that would make Washington, D.C. a state, likely dooming the hopes of statehood supporters for the foreseeable future. Manchin also said he would not vote for the major package of voting rights reforms known as H.R. 1, which includes a ban on gerrymandering, “as it exists today,” though he left open the possibility of backing a revised version.

A bill granting statehood to D.C. passed the House on a party-line vote for the second time ever

FIFTY REASONS WHY SB 202 IS A BAD BILL

HYPERCRIMINALIZATION: Georgia’s new law codifies mass disenfranchisement and intimidation and further expands criminalization policy in the voting process.

1. Mass Challenges: Codifies that a single person can challenge the voter registration of an unlimited # of voters at once, resulting in that voter being purged. (lines 575-576)

2. Mass Challenges: Codifies that a single person can challenge the rights of an unlimited # of voters to cast their ballot in the upcoming election. 364k Georgians were frivolously

Republicans want to expand the Arizona audit — but DOJ may shut it down

Arizona’s Republican-led Senate is looking to expand its post-election audit of 2.1 million ballots in the state’s most populous county, while Arizona’s Democratic secretary of state and the U.S. Department of Justice appeared headed to federal court to shut down the post-election exercise.

On Wednesday, May 5, the Senate’s liaison to the audit, former Arizona Secretary of State Ken Bennett, a Republican, confirmed that the GOP-led Senate is negotiating with a California nonprofit to conduct a new and separate audit of Maricopa County’s 2020 fall election votes.

The nonprofit, Citizens Oversight, would conduct an audit based on analyzing the digital

A former Georgia deputy boasted of charging Black people with felonies to make sure they lost their vote

April 29, 2021

In recent months, as less and less white people support voter suppression and more and more people of color organize around gaining political power, our country has once again reached an inflection point. Republican operatives across the country, long pushing for voter suppression laws that target Black and Latino communities, have decided to be even more overt in their attempts at returning to a pre-Brown v. Board of Education, segregated America, where law enforcement can stop citizens from voting based on their skin color or perceived non-whiteness. The feeble excuse from conservative lawmakers and their handlers is
